The Congressional oversight panel has made public a batch of approximately 70 photographs from the estate of late convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third publication from a tranche of more than 95,000 photographs the panel has acquired from Epstein's property. It features pictures of quotes from the novel Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored pictures of female overseas passports.

This action arrives mere hours before the 19th of December due date for the DOJ to make public each documents connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest photographs raise additional queries about precisely what the Justice Department has in its custody," said the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Disclosed

A number of the photos published on this week show Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates seen next to a woman whose features is censored; Steve Bannon seated at a table facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest high-net-worth, powerful individuals to be pictured in Epstein property photographs published by the oversight panel - earlier released photos also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Appearing in the photographs is not evidence of any misconduct, and a number of the featured men have said they were not involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement issued alongside the photo publication, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not supply background information or timeframes for the photographs.

"Photographs were selected to provide the general populace with openness into a typical cross-section of the photos received from the estate, and to offer insights into Epstein's network and his exceptionally alarming activities," the release reads.

The disclosure also includes a number of images of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita inscribed in dark ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her upper body, feet, hipbone, and back. Lolita narrates the tale of a minor who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular passage from the novel scrawled across a woman's torso says, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of images of women's identification and ID papers from states globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the data on the papers, like names and DOBs, is obscured but the committee said in a announcement that the travel documents pertain to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were engaging".

A further image depicts Epstein positioned at a table in close proximity in the company of three women whose identities have been obscured - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and a second is bending to look at a adjacent laptop. Epstein seems to be helping the final person fasten a bracelet.

An additional image made public is a image of text messages from an unnamed individual who claims they have been provided "a number of girls" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars per female".

Photograph Publication Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The body has many thousands of images in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "both disturbing and everyday," its announcement on Thursday clarified.

The Congressional committee first issued a subpoena to the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photos and records the Epstein property provided to the committee are separate from what is largely termed "the Epstein documents". Those files are records under the DOJ's possession related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Donald Trump enacted in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its files. The scope of what's contained in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's expected that much of the material will be significantly obscured, akin to the committee's materials
