Sir Keir Starmer plans to press supporting countries to deliver Ukrainian forces with more advanced missile systems to hit enemy locations during talks in London on the upcoming Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", comprising numerous of Ukraine's allies who have committed to grant the Ukrainian government security guarantees once hostilities pause is arranged.

Ukraine's president has been appealing for weeks for further advanced missile technology from the West, a step that Russia has stated would intensify the hostilities.

The Prime Minister will encourage leaders to expand the provision of long-range weapons following an effective strike on a manufacturing site in the Bryansk region, Russia, using Britain-delivered advanced weaponry.

Economic Talks
